SAK's solidarity appreciated cross boarders

The solidarity and work of SAK is appreciated by struggling sisters and brothers in other parts of the globe and by the ITUC, said Sharan Burrow, the General Secretary of the ITUC, on Monday in her video message to the SAK Congress. In Europe the austerity measures threaten people's jobs and take away income and retirement security. They are a drag on demand and therefore weaken the European economies. Nobody will be immune from the impacts of these austerity measures, she underlined.
