A new guide for foreign employees
The three employee confederations in Finland, SAK, STTK and AKAVA, have together published a guide for foreigners working in Finland. The guide is published in English, Estonian and Russian. It is a compact information package concerning the Finnish labour market model and trade unionism.
The guide includes information about working life in Finland, rights and duties of employees, unemployment benefits, family leaves, and pension. It also gives an overview of Finnish trade unions and tells how to join in one.
Publications can be ordered by using our brochure order. They are also available in pdf format. In order to view them, you need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available free of charge at Adobe's website.
