Incomes policy agreement in English

The new incomes policy agreement for 2001 - 2002 is now available in English at SAK's website. The agreement is in PDF format - in order to view it, you will need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available free of charge at Adobe's website.

The new agreement for Finland was signed on Friday, 15 December 2000. The agreement covers about two million wage-earners, comprising some 90 per cent of Finnish employees.

The new agreement was signed by all of the central employee confederations except AKAVA, which represents academically qualified professionals. Despite the failure of their parent organisation to sign, however, unions representing a large proportion of the AKAVA membership base have also negotiated collective agreements that are in line with the general agreement.
