Incomes policy settlement in English

The new incomes policy settlement for 2003 - 2004 is now available in English at SAK's website. The agreement is in PDF format - in order to view it, you will need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available free of charge at Adobe's website.

The settlement was signed on 2 December, 2002 by the Presidents of the employee and employer confederations.

The new settlement covers some 86 per cent of employees working in industries organised by unions affiliated to the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions - SAK. About 95 per cent of salaried employees in the white-collar confederation - STTK and 98 per cent of academic professionals in the Akava confederation are covered by the deal.
